I bring a warm and compassionate approach to my work with the aim of creating a therapeutic space in which each person feels respected and understood. Together we can build an understanding of how your problems have come about, examine your patterns of thinking, behaving, and relating to others, and provide you with the insight to take action to make meaningful changes. In addition to resolving difficult problems or managing symptoms, I find that many people benefit from therapy by learning to recognise and handle painful feelings, building their capacity to cope with stress, and cultivating new ways to thrive in their relationships, work, and lives.
I have worked across several settings with adults impacted by a range of difficulties, including depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, grief and loss, emotion dysregulation, complex trauma, intergenerational trauma, and relationship difficulties. In addition to private practice, I previously worked at the University of Sydney Gambling Treatment and Research Clinic, where I specialised in treating problem gambling and supporting family members of those experiencing gambling harms. Outside of my individual therapy work, I have facilitated mindfulness skills groups and conducted research examining the relationship between grief and attachment style.
I utilise an integrative approach to therapy, drawing mainly on psychodynamic psychotherapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) frameworks. Most importantly, I believe in working in partnership to tailor therapy to meet each person’s unique goals, and in doing so help them make meaningful and long-lasting changes.

The best way to make an appointment is to contact me by phone or email, and we can then arrange a brief phone call to discuss what you are looking for and find an appointment time.
If you wish to proceed, we will schedule 2-3 assessment appointments initially. This will allow me to provide feedback on your presenting problems, and give you the opportunity to decide if my approach is the right fit for you.
Assuming you wish to continue with ongoing therapy, we will agree on frequency of appointments (usually weekly or twice-weekly) and a regular appointment time.
Telehealth appointments are also available if you are not able to attend appointments in-person.
